Thank you for the correction, although I was only talking about the desktop environment. I understand the immutable part of it :)
That is KDE Plasma for those who are curious. It is one of the main desktop environments in Linux. It is my daily driver on my main PC. It is the most customizable desktop I know of. There is nothing you can’t change.
See, that’s what I thought, because I have tried to put a game once on another PC and it didn’t work. So, it makes sense now, it depends on the devs. This is why I like gog. You just have the .exe and you can install it anywhere you want
I see, it makes sense as the game would have a bunch of dependencies that are all over that folder. Thank you, I didn’t know that.
Like I can take the .exe and install it on any other computer own them?
That’s why I love GOG. You actually own your game that you PAID for.
Previously playing a shared game locked down the entire library, now it just locks the one copy of the game.
This is by far the best thing ever for me. My 10 year old son is always hogging the damn thing and I never get to play. 😂 Thank you valve for locking only the game. I’m so freaking happy, you have no idea. I still don’t understand the cooldown part, but meh, I got what I’ve always dreamed of, and that is what I care about.
How is it different from the beta one that we already had? I looked today and I’m still in the beta one and there is no other option to the actual one!
Much appreciated
Are monomers harmless?
The damn 6 miles daily walk. From grade 4 until 12. Not in the USA, BTW. A shithole 3rd world country.
Have you visited Wikipedia lately? I’ll gladly donate to KDE when I see this next time.
Chris Titus made this tool. I use it to debloat windows, disable all the telemetry, then pause all feature updates for two years and let only security updates through. As an added bonus (and if you want win11), he added a tool to create a micro windows iso. I am running the micro and it has been fantastic. I even removed defender and other garbage they force on people.
They wouldn’t need this pier if, you know, we stopped funding Israel to continue this genocide.
Just heard about it now from this post. I like endeavourOS. It has a great community support and the distro is pretty solid. No need to hop around for the same thing.
I’ve always used the little plus sign on icons. It’s ingrained into my brain. I even did the same on windows before switching to Linux 6 years ago. Single click and the little check box on Windows.
I’m a single click person, but I welcome this change. Those who like single click already know where to change it. This is good for new users.
Sir Farty McLovefarts
Lmfao. I laughed so fucking much at this name.
