Spin it in the air and take bites as it goes by.
Not sure if you misinterpreted me here friend, but I was agreeing with you.
This has nothing to do with being a mod and everything to do with rational thinking.
Yeah, but seeing them together is what I’m happy about.
Accepting the responsibility of facing reality has nothing to do with letting fascism take control.
I’d disagree, just because the people who refused to see the reality of the situation allowed naked fascism their time behind the wheel again. Plenty of people refuse to see reality how it is and choose to ignore it, sure that ‘things will just work out’ because that’s how it is in media.
In fact, if you were paying attention, I voted. Along with all the others that knew what would happen if we didn’t. So in that- WE tried to stop this- did you?
You’re preaching to the choir, she definitely wasn’t my first choice, but she was the only sane choice available all things considered.
My gripe is not with you, but with people who complain about the politician not being ‘exciting’ enough and using that as an excuse for why they’ve opened the door to removing the rights of myself and my loved ones. The people who feel that perfect isn’t the enemy of good, and that compromise and letting the democrats back in power was absolutely unthinkable (or, as some people told me, they deserved to lose to ‘learn a lesson’).
Based mod response. I get so sick of purity politics and using that as an excuse to justify letting fascism take control, but people gotta justify their choices somehow…
The truthfulness of the claim has been questioned, but Vance just seems like the kind of guy who would fuck a couch
But not the truthiness of the claim, which I think is the more important part.
“Yes it is for a lot of people”
Yes, changing your question will yield a different answer.
Lol, if you think this was changing the question, no wonder people get “upset” at you for your obsession with “accuracy”.
Yeah, how dare these people not stick around so they can be the first ones in the camps?!
Not sure where you are, but I grew up in tornado alley. After a while, you just get used to it.
Like, I distinctly remember being in a car dealership (think massive plate glass walls) when a tornado siren went off, and most of the sales drones were basically nose on the glass looking out at the green sky. I was very amused when the manager walked out and gave the professional equivalent of ‘dudes, what the actual fuck are you doing?’
How else make line go up?
Maybe those writers just had good parents, and they’re writing what they know.
I wouldn’t know, but I hear some people have good parents.
As many times as you want, but make sure its an odd number.
Can’t send money, but I’ve got tons of thoughts and prayers!
Nah, there are dream jobs, reality just has this unfortunate habit of imposing itself on your dreams. The result being that even dream jobs can suck because of the bullshit that goes along with them.
Well, when your goal is to destroy government programs and offices so they they get replaced by rent seeking corporations so they can suck every penny from you, it really is.
Protip: it’s never going to be enough. Your brain has this neat trick it does where it acclimates to a new normal after a while, so eventually you’re right back to where you were, wanting more and better things.
Find something in your life that brings you happiness, that’s a lot easier than chasing happiness through the employment you’re forced to have if you want to survive in this shit hole.
In my experience, every job eventually becomes a job you hate that just pays the bills.
The argument is probably that death spares him more suffering while being incarcerated.
The only part of that that doesn’t make sense is the citizens voting for it.
Racism. These policies are generally put forth with an implied wink and nudge that this will be used to target minorities. Unfortunately, they consider anyone outside of their tiny class and brainless minions to be a possible minority.
What’s the message?
" Look at how little we care. We think so little of what you think that we’re going to commemorate the time that we blew up a whole bunch of people with communications devices and we’re going to give it as a victory trophy to this brownshirt shithead that pretends to be a working mans politician."
John Naziman
I was lucky enough to go there when they still allowed people to go up the temple at Chichen Itza, and it was pretty cool, but I couldn’t image just climbing shit they tell you not to. Especially when the reasoning is protecting heritage.
Honestly, he’s lucky he didn’t trip on the way down. Those stairs are steep.
