I’m all for bashing congress, but continuing to throw out untrue “facts” learned from internet comments that were never verified might get more attention, but can make others disregard the rest of your statement.

What in the article makes you think the cameras had any impact on this case? Her lawyer still hadn’t talked to her when this was published. She was still taken with no information given. The cameras only seem to normalize this for some and put fear in others. And way too many are happy with it. But doesn’t seem anyone was able to do shit about it.

Furniture can cover outlets making them less accessible. You then don’t need a 10’ cord to reach an outlet if it’s built in. It’s also in the same spot and easy to find the cord and port.

My headboard was cheap and came with an usb. It plugs into the outlet hidden by the bed. I now have a charging cord where I need it. Some of it is useful, some not so much.

It won’t always be done if people don’t want it. In the 80’s everything came with a clock. The old joke about the vcr flashing 12:00 is pretty accurate. What gets confusing are these large homes, or McMansions that list 5 bedrooms and 7 and a half baths. So are they listing 3 powder rooms at 1.5 baths? I can’t afford them, so I only see it online; but that part gets weird. I have seen descriptions that then list full and partial though.

I’m in the US and powered room is used in places I’ve lived. But on real estate listings it is common to call it 1/2 bath.

Eh, probably need an old white guy. Walz or Newsome are the two who should be getting in the spotlight now. Then the Dems get a group of progressives who will back either of them to make some waves and say what they won’t. Dems need to be more unified and not go too crazy.
