  • Google is losing interest in maintaining Android at all.

Google is just starting to capitalize big on Android with its strangle hold. They’ve recently introduced tracking your device while it’s off. Scoped storage, where it excludes itself. Stock Pixel devices cannot use other gallery apps to view their images. Google requires developers to submit their key to sign their apps for Google Play Store. Google has copied almost all popular productivity apps to push their own above everyone else. And so on and so on.

Their AI stuff is probably analyzing your data on-device and sending aggregate to their servers. Which they can conflate and market as “not sending your data” but it just means not sending the raw data.

So I really doubt they’re losing interest in Android.

  • my $100 Walmart tablet lasts all week with light usage, I doubt this could compare

probably not in a first release, but Android is convulted piece of shit compared to linux desktop environments. Not to mention Google’s and/or OEMs built-in system apps running 24/7 guzzling all your data in the background.

In time, I guess it would beat out in performance and efficiency but lose in the availability of applications, same as desktop linux.

  • Wait until your find that early US presidents were slavers and slaver families still control decent chunks of US economy

Anyone with a history book on US knows the revolution was about extremely rich people wanting a country of their own to rule, so they didn’t have to pay taxes to the royal family, which it propagandized as a people’s rebellion. It was a war among the colonists about who gets to loot the riches of the land.

So it isn’t a surprise, they’ve kept their initial agenda above everything and everyone else.
