I understand the reluctance. If they had to change platforms every time there was a controversy they’d end up on a platform with no followers left by the end of it. In this case it is merited though.
Fuck Nazis. Fuck Elon Musk.
I agree, we’re facilitating interprovincial trade, we have many allies in a similar position with which we can strike new deals. The US is looking to cause some damage though.
It might be, we don’t know all the details yet (they called it an irritant) but so far all these global tariffs have disproportionally hurt Canada more than other countries. I can see the US smoothing things over with others but keeping this as a point of contention with Canada.
But if it is the last barrier to reaching an agreement, how long will the rest of Canada support Quebec? This is being done to test our confederacy.
Edit: Not supporting Trump, just being realistic about his intentions.
Trump is using this to cause a crisis in Canada. Quebec objects, the ROC 1) may grow impatient with an agreement not being made. 2) IF the ROC rallies behind Quebec, the US will use it forever to justify tariffs.
Dirty tactics.
They have at different points in history. Maybe we’re due.
So do something then, other than just complaining about it.
If I was the US military I’d be troubled by the fact the President doesn’t recognize how irresponsible and dangerous this all is.
“Top democrats shout at wall.”
Vance was in the chat too.
Because greed allows us to ignore the fact we aren’t accounting for the limits of this planet. We get to use greed to justify complete moral abandon, which in today’s world can be really damaging. A few people are getting rich atm by tearing the world apart, it won’t lead to good things.
But our system isn’t designed to communicate the good around you to you, it’s the opposite pretty much. The good is there it just doesn’t brag, or shout or mock. It’s quiet but it spreads. But you know when is is gone. It is conspicuous in its absence
What about their threats to a G7 ally? Does that contribute to the dropoff too?

The people who bought them don’t appreciate them working for other people.
He’ll still own *the largest share of Tesla so it won’t change anything.
*Corrected my post but the point remains: he controls the company and their image to such a degree he has to be asked to step away, all in an effort to improve his fortunes primarily.
Greatest thing I did with my life was to increase my understanding of other people’s lives. He is toxic, whether he’s trolling or not
It is so he can look like he was putting up a fight.
