• Dying Light 1 has a really fun parkour movement system (haven’t played Dying Light 2)
• Ghostrunner, also kind of parkour-based, really gets you into a flow state once you get the hang of the movement
• Vanquish is always pretty satisfying IMO, both movement and combat
• Jet Set Radio or its spiritual successor, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (different dev, same idea) are really fun, especially with friends
• The remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is pretty damn good

As far as I’m aware, they/them and she/her are both good for Steph. They said on their podcast that they use she/her most often in their personal life (because tiddies and long hair) but either set of pronouns works.

If a game is rated Gold or above, it’s generally good to go on most systems. Platinum is the best rating other than Native, which means it’s a game with an official Linux version. Proton is the reason I switched to Linux.

Bronze and Silver games might play fine too, but you’ll either have to do some tinkering or it just won’t work. It’s not that often that these games work “out of the box.”

Increase corporate tax rates, shut down loopholes, go after companies that use tax havens, fine corporate irresponsibility commensurate with the damage it causes (no ticky-tack fines), imprison white collar criminals and seize their assets, limit executive compensation relative to the lowest-paid employee, outlaw stock buybacks, etc.

Canadian journalism is full of nepotism, favours, and exploitation. It’s been getting worse since most of our news organizations became American-owned over the last decade or so.

It’s funny that the court would explicitly legitimize the idea that some people deserve to be “socially impaired” and others do not despite committing exactly the same crime.

I’m going to assume you’re not Canadian due to the “you guys” part and let you know that the $1.3 billion was already agreed to with Biden and was pre-allocated specifically for border control purposes at the end of 2024.

I don’t really see how I can be helpful here since I’m not a municipal official or an elected representative, complaining is really all I am able to do as an average person.

I’m tired of being promised change only to be met with half-measures that get scrapped by the next party in power. Aren’t you sick of every policy being a version of “we’ll commit to making things slightly better over the next 10 years, when we’re no longer accountable for our failures”?

I’m tired of mediocrity being celebrated because the alternative is societal regression. So yes, I’m complaining. Oh no, how terrible.

Not good enough. We need at least 1 million new homes a year. We need to force municipalities to allow for mixed-use zoning so that we don’t only create single-family homes in suburbs that are largely disconnected from transit and amenities. We need to discourage urban sprawl and incentivize mass transit.

The Liberals know this because they talk to developers and municipalities and want their centrist “compromise” to be the solution. It won’t be, it’ll just be another half-measure that the Conservatives can point to when they want to highlight the poor spending choices of the opposition.
