You don’t need to run if your name is written in the constitution as perpetual President.
You don’t need to run if your name is written in the constitution as perpetual President.
I’m not American. I live in Europe.
But I’ll give an insight. Socdem party lost support for most people because they systemically failed to address the issues of the working class.
People can have empathy for other people’s problems. But when no one cares about your problems a ñnd election after election they ask you to vote them because empathy to others, and never for your own good, because they never do anything for you. And your life keeps getting worse and worse, and still they refuse to address your problems, and keep wanting your vote just for “stopping fascism” or “being solidary”… You can do that for one election, maybe two… But at some point you just phase out, you just cannot care anymore. If they don’t do anything for you, and you need something being done, you just don’t vote.
And seeing the low democratic turnout in the US, I think it may be the answer. Maybe people that didn’t show up yesterday is people that needed their problem solved the last 4 years and they just got ignored by the Democratic party. So they just didn’t vote the Democratic party out of spite.
I will actually probably won’t vote in my country next election. Fully knowing that the conservative and fascist parties will win and form a coalition government.
But SocDem and Communists have been ruling 8 years and they failed to address my issues. I cannot, in good conscience, keep giving them my vote knowing what they are doing with it. I just have my dignity. I will stand against the altRight on my own terms when they’ll raise to power if necessary, but I’ll refuse to give my vote to anyone who didn’t deserve it.
I just talk of my personal welcomes.
Legally I don’t know.
But if you are targeted by a conflict you can come as refugee. Many people from Latin America come here on that premise.
Every good person is welcome here.
I suppose it’s not the best. But if things go really wrong. Every LGBT migrant is welcome in my country (Spain). We have some of the most advanced laws on LGBT protection on the planet.
And while we have our share of far right that wants ti abolish LGBT rights, it is unlikely they will succeed at this even if they reach power (please, don’t let this afe like milk).
Are they? Most studies I have read on that matter are… not good science, to put on nice words.
There’s not even the need for empathy. If people voted for their best interest instead of the interest of the 1% we’ll be better.
People can’t take a joke
I cannot upvote you twice. But I think it was funny and clever.
Sell “seasons”.
Put a prize on all videos released during each year. But once that’s paid I can have those videos forever.
No point on having to pay a monthly subscription forever to watch a video made 10 years ago from a youtuber that’s no longer active (maybe even alive).
Pay por the permanent ownership of the sold product.
As they say. If selling isn’t owning, piracy isn’t stealing.
If a seller doesn’t give me option to own their products I will certainly never steal them.
Why no vote equals a vote for Trump instead of the contrary a vote for Harris?
You are assuming that all people not voting or voting other party would vote for Harris, but this is probably not true.
Many of those people would vote for Trump if forced. Thus it would be better for the Harris campaign that they stayed home or keep voting for the Tea Party or some other third right wing party without representation.
The problem is that the niche community exist. In fact it probably exists several times, one in each instance with a small number of followers. Which makes really hard to go and decide in which community you want to invest.
It’s one fundamental problem of federative systems and to be solved some of the federal nature need to be partially given away, but I think is necessary. I propose two solutions:
2 Discourage. Everytime you try to create a community that already exists in other instance a pop up appears that encourage you to just go to the other community. For already duplicated communities messages are sent to concentrate in the biggest one.
People are well known for never ever running over anything or anyone.
What tf you want them to do?
I don’t see how reading magazines, what people used to do, is any better.
It depends on your goals, and what cultures are you interested in.
I’m also fluent in Spanish and English (native Spanish though), and my third language of choice has always been between Chinese or Japanese. I like east asian culture, technology and many of their cultural exports. So it was an easy choice for me (easy the choice, languages… not so easy).
