I had my primary care doctor retire. The gigantic hospital system with which they work put all existing patients in as new patients for the incoming doctor. It has been 18 months and I’m still waiting for the new patient visit. Fighting to even get maintainance medications filled has been crazy because I keep being told “I have to see my doctor.” Circular logic abounds.

The gigantic system makes it so I cannot directly contact the office, it is all hurry up and wait through their patient portal systems which require 24-48 hours for response time. Can’t go to the doctors office to complain without an appointment.

This system is working optimally for someone. It is not us.

Universal healthcare paid from the taxes of the wealthy. Cmon. Asking for a few million friends. 😣

I used to work for a big north American restaurant chain. Any employer provided employment development was schlocky pop self help. They were always full of studies like longevity studies proving their efficacy. Self help is closer to evangelical big church religion than help. Such a scam. Those classes were so painful.

Anyways glad to see something so commonly held put up to scrutiny.

Oh I understand you. I don’t think you understand that voting for Democratics and criticizing them is more than OK, it is necessary.

Yeah, you shouldn’t work with them on such heinous human rights abusing packages. That is what it underscores to me. If anyone actually read the bill, we might critically push back on the Democrats and make positive change instead of this bipartisan rivalry nonsense. It serves the status quo, not any of us. If the bill had any merit , I’d be totally with you on that point.

That bill was a super republican bill, I honestly do not know why the Democrats keep bragging about this as if every “bipartisan” bill has merit. The Overton Window continues to shift right. Just because the vociferous Republicans spouted incorrect information about the bill, that doesn’t make the quality of actual bill have any merit. I’m ashamed that any democrat thought this"immigration" reform bill was something worth fighting for. It is an anti immigration package that gives significantly more money and power to homeland security. It focused on funding border walls, detention centers, increasing the burden of proof required for asylum seekers, among others. It is a horrendous bill that cares little for immigrants.

It is, it is natural organic growth.

Organic growth is much more manageable and predictable than explosive cancerous growth.

This MFer. Take CVS for example, they’ve reduced staff at each pharmacy for efficiency. It used to be you would get a prescription at your pharmacy of choice within an hour of going to the doctor. Now it takes days because of “efficiency”. I swear capitalism is a religion to many.
