When it comes to accusations in a functional state, innocence must be presumed. If they are brought to trial and fairly tried, they should then receive the appropriate sentence to their crimes, which could very well involve deportation. It’s trivial, but according to the article the individuals in question were not tried and convicted for any crimes. The current scenario is simply a violation of freedom of expression.

No surprise, they even wrote a book outlining what they were going to do.

Where’s the freedom of expression?

I don’t even like the phrase “from the river to the sea…” because it implies denying the two-state solution, but even people I disagree with should be free to profess their political views without fear.

We should have democratic mechanisms to vote these politicians out of office when they start messing up.

Ukrainians a few decades ago would have said the same about the Russians.

If things continue like this, one day the United States will be the Christian version of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

People should enjoy the last years of democracy and freedom of movement in Europe, because all of that is about to end soon, even more so now with hostile allies like the United States actively financing the fragmentation of the EU.

That’s life, it may be a consolation to think that at least we had the opportunity to live for a while in a particularly prosperous, free and peaceful historical anomaly. The next generations probably won’t have that luck.
