I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
It wasn’t titled “Art of the Great Deal”.
They rely on people either not having seen the debate or clips, or just having as short of a memory as Trump.
It depends on your personality and life. If you have kids or others to care for, or a social life, or anything else tied to the day-night cycle, then yeah, it sucks. No traffic on the road is huge, I don’t see how people deal with even just moving rush hour day after day. cue opening scene of Office Space Nope, I’m good with this.
Towing a vehicle like that is definitely criminal.
If she had left off the Haitian part, it would just be typical crazy Nextdoor stuff. That she felt that had to be included suggests something. Maybe not MAGA level, but there’s some specifics not being said. Hell, she may not even consider herself biased, yet she sees those Haitians as different enough to single them out.
We shouldn’t wait until it gets to that point. Look at the past, plenty of racism examples to work from that became violent. What really makes it worse is that Trump, Vance, and others are doubling down on the mistake, fanning flames that should have just been a one day “that’s stupid”. They want violence, it helps their cause, excites their base.
Yes, credit where it’s due for them lasting. Those are like the COBOL running banks and government stuff, never intended to last forever, yet still being used because it’s easier and cheaper (well, probably not in the long run).
dollar-store Tucker Carlson
So dollar store clearance rack.
We lost one early to kidney disease. One week he just started acting off, not eating normal, even found him hiding in places (which is never a good sign). Started losing weight visibly, so we got him in to the vet and the blood work comes back. We took him home for one last night together with the other cats before taking him back to let him go. Still rough to think about. We’ve lost a few others mainly to old age, which is still hard, but to cut a great companion’s life in half out of the blue…
EVs for service vehicles that do a lot of local starts and stops is a no-brainer. Should have been done a long time ago. It’s no wonder that they’re getting good reception, after years of working with worn out equipment. I regularly see tow trucks with a Grumman.
But some of the people, yeah, they’re really racist.
Thanks. I recall seeing this info before, and I questioned the same thing before. While any depletion is bad, is 17 tons the windmill to attack when other emissions affecting ozone and other effects are far, far greater? I get that it’s saying a larger increase means more residuals left, but can we possibly pump out satellites anywhere close to what’s done from the ground?
I can’t find any very recent numbers, but here’s an example of what I’ve found both in emissions and potential emission sources. https://news.mit.edu/2020/emissions-ozone-cfc-chemicals-0317. I just don’t see satellite reentry as the headline it’s made out to be, plus we can find alternates that reduce it further.
Paywall, got a summary?
And assuming the topic from the link, is even very active commercial launching comparable to the rest of the emissions we’re doing?
They can also, with varying success rates, use a sample of a person’s speech to resurrect a dead person’s voice to say things. Which can be used for good or bad purposes, like any tool. I do think recreating someone’s handwriting a lot more balanced on the bad uses than on the good…
I think that while current LLMs don’t have the greatest context memories, they will remember certain things long from now.
If the bottom line is bigger than last quarter, yes. It’s getting companies to try things that they see as riskier that’s hard, when cutting costs is always easier and gets some results faster than any progressive ideas.
Do not boo. Stay focused. Vote.
I totally get people undecided on whether they will vote Harris or just not vote. I don’t agree with it as I think it’s crucial to get as many open-minded people in office as possible, from higher offices to local, and you can’t do that if you don’t vote, as well as continue to tell them what you want to see after they get in office (something that most people don’t do and it part of the problem).
But to have trouble figuring out if it should be Harris or Trump? Really?
Really?
