What does mapy replace US app wise pls? Is it too obvious to say Google maps?

The US clarified by saying “we can’t… honest”.
The maintenance contracts and parts are all US resources that could be switched off over night relegating your aircraft to a very heavy paperweight
I’m using it now instead of pocket cast. It’s a shame it won’t auto download and auto queue your favorites but the developer said s/he’s working on it.
It’s very clean, focused and uncomplicated - really well designed and I like it’s simplicity the most.
I do find that sometimes even if I have a queue of content at the end of one podcast it doesn’t automatically play the next but could be my phone
Yup, that’s the way it’s going. There won’t be enough take up so they’ll start putting features ("oh, you want golf, that’ll be the $3.99/month golf subscription) and data like personal bests behind the paywall
This thought comes to me alot: my mum passed relatively early and my grandfather shortly after that.
I’d not want either to have had to experience what this world has become
Ah thanks, and apologies as I could have just ecosia’ed that ;)
I recall an app called endomondo doing similar. I’d bought the Pro version for lifetime only to find them move to a Premium option.
That was fine as I still had what I had paid for… until take up wasn’t good enough and slowly key features moved behind the paywall.
Im fairly certain this is the direction this is going. I wonder if there’ll be a class action if so to force buy back of the hardware
This was in my mind but I don’t spend money easily so intend to replace it when it breaks.
I’ll need to reassess if the US invades
Sorry, what does that achieve please?
Your wife is English and she’s stunned you drink tap water?!? That’s remarkable, my 50 odd years I’ve not found a person in England that doesn’t drink the tap water
Hah, funny to see Howies referenced here, wore my light cycling waterproof from them yesterday for the first time in years.
It’s one of the best designed pieces of clothing I’ve ever had. It’s such a simple piece but everything is just “right”
Oh, and the basic - don’t carry your cell phone/smart watch regardless of whether it’s switched off
I’m making this work, sort of, in that I live in a one-bus-a-week village but swapped my car out 3yrs back for an electric moped.
Its so much cheaper and nice that a car isn’t lying around unused. I was ready to suck up the cost of hire cars/taxis but have maybe had 1 or 2 in that period.
Like you say, it has to work for you but I think most don’t realise how car ownership doesn’t have to be a thing
A little like WhatsApp, I can’t get anyone to move so I’m stuck.
Fair point re swearing, low effort on my part
Wtf, for real? Wow, bin that s**t… Tricount is fantastic
Yup, been using tricount for years, can’t rate it enough (especially now it does multiple currencies within a single kitty.
Mind you, thought it was French so have been pronouncing it “tree-cont” and that’s no coming back from that! :)
I think the phrase is “I couldn’t care less”.
I can’t argue with that, at least in the US that’s always been a strength of their’s.
I initially held the view that range was irrelevant if it’s a massive battery but even on that score Tesla seemed to be ahead of the game for a long time on the efficiency (miles per kw). Not sure if the market has caught up as I’m not at that end of the food chain so speak.
I can understand why your next one will be electric as pretty much all the benefits you describe are benefits of an EV not a Tesla.
I drive an old beater of a leaf and have the same list
I’m using Soundcloud having moved from Spotify and am enjoying it.
I’m not a massive music fan (i.e. No library to import) so can’t say how good it is at that
