EndeavourOS - I jumped around distros a lot but always found myself coming back to arch. Then I found Endeavour which is just arch with the same basic setup I would always end up doing, so out of convenience I stuck with it

Netrunner1197@lemmy.worldto linuxmemes@lemmy.world•Linux Users’ Bingo: Classic Windows Fan Assumptions 😆1·2 months agoIn my experience, Linux has been superior for older games because proton (the compatibility layer that makes windows game work on Linux) has a ton of old windows components packed in that are broken on modern windows.
The main issue people have these days are with newer multiplayer games and anti-cheat not playing nice with proton.
Modding can also be a bit of a hurdle if you’re into that sort of thing, but with a bit of work it’s doable.
Are you actually trying to say no one bought iPods or tablets?
iPod’s were literally the hottest piece of tech in the world in their heyday
