Logical is not the same as moral.
He is a raised Muslim who turned atheist from Saudi Arabia. Doing that carries the death penalty in there, so he fled to Germany. That is a pretty decent reason to hate Islam. So when AFD and other far right idiots like Musk claim Europe is taken over by Muslims, then somebody like that can absolutely loose his mind. It is also in line with wanting Israel to conquer as much land in the region as possible. He was heavily discriminated by a Islamic government, so wanting a guy like that preferring Israel over Muslim rule is logical.
I am honestly not too sure about that. The AFD has very similar positions and is able to actually win elections.
Starlink has been used a lot in Ukraine. For communications between soldiers, but even more importantly to communicate with drones. Having a constellation like that in place is extremely usefull for that and having it partly paid for from private money is a big advantage.
There are a bunch of holes in the high speed line right now. The really bad one is Frankfurt, which has a massive terminal station, which means the train has to change direction. There are also no high speed tracks from Fulda to Frankfurt and between Frankfurt and Mannheim. Then there is an option of a more direct line from Erfurt to Frankfurt, which would avoid the high speed line via Hannover, which shortens the journey. Good news is that quite a bit of that is in the works.
Also the flight is 2h and you can probably add 2h at the airports with security control and so forth and another 2h for going to and from the airport to the city centers. So a grand total of 6h travel time for the trip.
First of all for a wider look:
https://www.energy-charts.info/charts/price_average_map/chart.htm?l=en&c=DE&interval=year
This is the average spot market price for each zone for 2024 until today(The link will adjust the picture unfortunatly not). Currently the big driver is the high gas price. It has gone down, but it is still higher then before Russia cut of supply. However massive deployment of renewables is driving down prices and you can tell fairly well, who uses the least fossil fuels in their grid just from the price.
They plan to cut those jobs until 2030, without firing workers due to business reasons. The idea is to have workers retire or quit the job and then not hire new workers. VW has 195,000 workers in Germany, so that is possible.
