  • Hell, I disowned my dad for making a racist act, pretty much, pointing to a black child at a golf course and making subtle monkey actions. Later that day I said fuck it, came out to him as trans. The following weeks that he contacted my partner and I proved my decision to banish him was correct, and so I did. A zero tolerance policy for intolerant people is a must imo

Parents have no hold over you, not really. If they don’t deserve your presence, don’t allow it. I hope, however, that your cousins would accept your choice and stay in contact with you, because sibling love is so much more valuable.

Families shouldn’t be torn over political garbage anyway, priorities are all out of wack

  • Yes! So proud of you and everyone that turned up. I hate that we’re the target of some weird obsession as if we’re a threat, but while here, it’s so good to hold events like this and educational stalls etc… Like, if the gov won’t teach folk, we will haha
It is so nice to see kids in these events, to me they’re a monument to who we are as they weren’t forced to turn up, and they’re a sign that the future can be safe for folk who just want the right to free expression :3

  • I can be negative. But I love people and want the best for everyone. What I don’t like are the toxic systems of control that some people are under, and some people follow. Aand sometimes I can be swept up in the injustice, and lose my patience with extreme followers.

I apologise in advance to this community if I make someone’s mood worse, instead of better. I can often fail, and yet we should all strive to be a healthy member of the communities we inhabit!
