VR games are too short!

For me the only 8K content i tried on a VR display is just cranking up a game to 8K wich looked really good but also showed the textures and model geometry is not ready for that and also the games i tried ran at very low frame rates. But when i wasn’t moving around i could see very far, very clearly because of the amount of pixels per degree. I tried the witcher 3 and resident evil village maxed out. Running on a 3090. Village was insanely good looking but it was using all of the 24GB of Vram of the 3090. I really liked the visual settings in village. For me 8K on a VR display is more about having a big panel separated into small windows that all look clear.

I’ll look into it. Not sure what kodi does exactly based on their website.

There’s still no streaming for 3D movies yet tho :,( i still need to rip the 3D blue rays to my PC if i want to watch them in VR… fandangonow had a quest app to stream 3D movies but it doesn’t work anymore and it was a US only option. Hopefully the apple vision pro stuff makes it happen faster globally!

Why not go for something like a steam deck or ayaneo as the main computer? I’m just wondering if that would be a good alternative for someone younger in terms of price and performance.

Now i wonder about the opposite. Games that you should never go in blind XD

Edit. I’m not sure what the difference is between deluxe and ultimate but for a couple more dollars i got the ultimate. Might as well while it’s still available.
