Yea just dont get a DJI, they have some geolocking on their drones. I personally don’t like when companies control stuff you buy, but if you don’t mind the restrictions, then sure, get DJI.
So basically, the best brands there is are:
DJI (geofencing, I don’t recommend)
Autel
Potensic
Fimi
Everything else seems like toy-grade stuff
reddit.com/r/drones have great info, niche subreddits are still very useful despite reddit’s enshittification
Rule of Thumb: Don’t fly into airports, Don’t fly into military bases, Don’t fly when high-level politicians are near your area (unless you wanna get a visit from the government).
