He’s trying to blame Ukraine for the attack now. Not like they have anything else to focus on right now, right?

When you’re hated and incompetent, blaming the people you hate for your incompetence is a convenient scapegoat.

I suspect X was down because they screwed something up internally. When you’ll never be required to prove anything, you can scream you’re being hacked / ddos’d til the cows come home and rubes will believe you.

Incompetence does not equal malfeasance.
